Flos
Launched in 1962, FLOS is credited with creating the timeless classics ARCO, TOIO and TACCIA – all designed by Achille and Piergiacomo Castiglioni as part of their inaugural collection. From the outset, it was evident, that FLOS had an innate talent for creating designs with technical excellence that would surpass the tests of time.
In 1959 Arturo Eisenkeil, the importer of a US spray-on plastic coating, discovered a new application for this material. By collaborating with Dino Gavina and Cesare Cassina they set up a company to produce lighting fixtures that were then brought to life by the designs of Achille and Piergiacomo Castiglioni and Tobia Scarpa. Today FLOS is an every-expanding stable of cutting edge international designers commissioned to create designs that illuminate our lives.

The technical quality of FLOS’ lighting is superb, with many products winning awards and historical accolades. Many of their creations can be found in the peripheries of the most beautiful homes, hotels and high-concept interiors, as well as gracing museums and exhibitions all around the world.
