The Fuse light is a quirky light for the table or floor from an original idea by Tony Davis of Art Meets Matter Ltd and engineered in collaboration with Jon Baker of Design 360 as part of their Art Meets Light joint venture.
The Fuse light is based on the most ignored, yet vital, piece of lighting design – the humble household fuse. This iconic Fuse light is designed for anyone with an appreciation of design and lighting history. The Fuse is larger than life and is finished beautifully to deliver a soft , all-round distribution of light from a maximum 20W compact fluorescent lamp. The Fuse l3 AMP light is supplied with a brushed, anodised aluminium finish, fitted with a 2M mains lead with integral switch and 3 AMP fused plug.
Art Meets Light (AML) launched the FUSE concept at 100% Design 2007. Future FUSE versions will include smaller and larger scale luminaires and pendants.
