Kartell
One of the pioneers of Italian design, Kartell was established by Giuglio Castelli in 1949 as a car accessory manufacturer, but soon branched out to produce homewares. Even Kartell’s early production focused on innovation in its futuristic use of materials and its design research, which accented ergonomic form and groundbreaking aesthetic. The addition of Labware and lighting divisions gave Kartell an unsurpassed knowledge of materials.
