Sendai Modern Designer Shelves
By the celebrated Japanese designer/architect Toyo Ito and inspired by the outstanding media library at Sendai. These beautiful shelves calmly float between oil-varnished, turned black walnut and alder wood structures, each finished with 60 turns, at a different angle and a different diameter. You can put the shelves to practical use for storing books and treasured belongings or simply appreciate the aesthetic balance of the Sendai and the tranquil feel they create. We love the way the polished steel acts as a mirror to reflect the surface behind. Ideal if you are thinking of creating a feature wall with some dynamic wallpaper or a fresh, funky colour.
