This side lamp is made from concrete and silk with a rectangular concrete base that has a luminous acrylic insert that glows in the dark after the light has been switched off. The concrete of this side lamp base gives the light an industrial feel which is softened by the natural fibres of the silk shade. The silk shade is hand-moulded using a special process that gives it a unique, softly rippled effect.
