This outstanding Belgian design house is expert in the conception and manufacture of contemporary outdoor furniture. Founded in 1994, this award winning company produces stunningly original pieces that retain practical everyday purpose.
The Latin word by which this design house takes its name means 'out of the ordinary' and when you see just a small selection of their diverse range of exterior furniture and accessories, you will soon appreciate why.
Belgian Contemporary Design House
When he founded Extremis, the enigmatic Dirk Wynants decided he was going to be the trend setter, thinking outside the box. Having won numerous awards for his incredible creations, the son of a Belgian cabinet maker has proved his unique ability to incorporate style with function.
One of the most popular items from this European design house is the Gargantua. This enormous outdoor dining table was conceived by Extremis' founder, Dirk Wynants and was the very first piece to be sold by the company.
The practical nature of this spectacular garden furniture producer is embodied in this versatile take on traditional outdoor seating and dining areas. With enough room to seat 12 and with the option of removing seats, thus enabling wheelchair access, this beautiful table encourages valuable social interaction in a spacious setting.
