MDF Italia
MDF Italia is a famed Milan-based design house. Using simplistic stripped down design, they have continually pushed the stylistic boundaries, whilst always ensuring their furniture remains completely functional. Chief designer Bruno Fattorini has helped to forge a unique uncomplicated elegance throughout the entire range of contemporary furniture at MDF Italia; ensuring a distinctive and increasingly popular design style for modern homeowners and businesses.
Modern Simplistic Furniture Design
The entire MDF Italia range on offer here at Leigh Harmer evokes modernity and a distinguished style, unequalled elsewhere. From the simple form of the M1 and FU09, to the curved beauty of S Table or Lofty Chaise; each product carries that unmistakable MDF Italia aesthetic and functionality.
Chairs, tables and sofas provide the core products of the MDF Italia collection. Right at the top end of their range are
some of the most sophisticated sofa designs currently available. The stunning MDF Italia Idea One may not be the brashest
piece of modern furniture,
but through elegant refinement and quality craftsmanship, it seamlessly blends in with a
contemporary abode, offering both style and comfort. Likewise, the slightly reduced size of the Edgar II sofa doesn't detract
at all from what is a remarkable furnishing.
Stylish & Functional Seating
The aforementioned M1 and FU09 chairs from MDF Italia are as contradictory as you might expect; being as they are unassuming pieces of furniture, still with an unmistakable designer touch and quality. However, things take a more distinctive turn with the fantastic Lofty designs. Coming in both a swivel armchair and a spectacular chaise lounge; the Lofty chairs blend sharp striking edges with cool curves, to create a seat that is not only eye-catching but extremely comfortable too.
The final piece in the MDF Italia puzzle can be found in their selection of tables. Taking the table from simply being a useful object, they have managed to develop an intriguing range of styles and designs to make it into a centrepiece for any room once more. The Colours Table and Lim 04 Extension add a refined touch and that instantly recognisable MCF Italia tailoring, to the classic four-legged table.
The Colours table offers a vibrant lacquered glass and aluminium structure, just as with the Lim 04, which features a more subdued palette of colours, but an equally stylish finish. Last, but by no means least is the spectacular S Table by MDF Italia and designed by Xavier Lust. Perched atop a sleek curved structure is a reinforced circular piece of glass. A guaranteed talking point in any environment; this table is customisable in terms of size and finishes, but in all its guises it is a remarkable piece of design and furniture engineering.
